I know most novice marketers lack patience and are strapped for time, so here are 9 power “keyword tweaking” you should consider implementing right away with your websites if you haven’t done so already.
Remember, Search Engine Optimization allows your page to rank higher up the Goliath search engines like Google, Yahoo, MSN, Bing etc. More traffic spells as more conversions.
Finally, get a taste of what all Internet marketing specialists do.
Let’s get to it.
1. Pick a primary keyword phrase that you want the page to rank for (a keyword phrase can be one or more words).
2. Pick a couple of secondary keyword phrases related to the main keyword phrase.
3. Put the primary keyword phrase at the beginning of the list of keywords in your metatags.
4. Include the secondary keyword phrases also in the keyword metatag list.
5. Use the primary keyword phrase in the description metatag. (try to also include the secondary keywords in the description)
Don’t load in keyword phrases that you won’t be discussing on the page in either the keyword or description metatags. (It doesn’t help).
6. Put the primary keyword phrase in the url (if you can). Use underscores to separate words.
7. Put the primary keyword phrase in the Title of the page (this is a biggie!)
8. Use the primary keyword between H1 Header tags in the content area.
9. I usually recommend the content follow a five paragraph essay broken up with graphics etc. Open the page introducing the main keyword phrase and mention the secondary keywords in context (1st paragraph).
Each paragraph after this should discuss a secondary keyword and relate it back to the primary keyword. You can highlight sub-paragraphs with H2 or H3 Header tags using the secondary keyword terms to make them stand out. The closing paragraph summarizes the importance of the primary keyword as it relates to secondary keywords (again using those terms in context).
10. Put keywords in alt-text of the images. Use images to break up the text and enhance the content. Keep the images relevant.

If you’re like most small business owners, you want to maximize referrals and repeat business so that you don’t have to spend your time chasing down leads and convincing folks that they should do business with you. But building this type of business takes constant contact with your customers.
You see, as the months go by, your past customers just aren’t thinking about you anymore. That’s the cold, hard truth. And no matter how great your service was, your customers are busy living their lives–odds are, they won’t remember you. And they definitely won’t mention your name at the next family picnic when Uncle Jack starts talking about the pains your product or service fixes.
Am I saying that good service won’t help you get a referral here and there? Of course not!
What I am saying is that if you want a strong customer base that is the backbone of your business, you must actively, systematically and methodically BUILD YOUR CUSTOMER BASE.
You must have a living, breathin customer database.
So, what do I mean when I say you need a “living, breathing customer database?”
Well, you need to actively build your customer database—every day, every week, every month! All of your contact, prospect and customer data, order & billing info… everything needs to be entered and stored in the database. You need these people organized into meaningful groups. And you need the flexibility to sort through the database so that on a moment’s notice you can pull up prospects or customers that might bring you more business.
And when you combine a solid customer database with the power of sequential follow-up campaigns, you will have the ability to land lots of new business in a short period of time. You can effortlessly run a customer loyalty campaign that keeps your name in front of customers… and keeps repeat business and referrals coming your way.
To your ongoing business prosperity.

What up bloggers!
If the term ‘blogger’ still sounds unfamiliar to you, it’s time to come out the stone-age, and play in the digital-age’s sunshine.
Setting up your own blog for your brand is a must-have promotional tool for your clothing line. Here are several ways where you can drive more traffic to your blog easily, and for free.
***
1. Join My BlogLog
You see it on streetwearxhiphop.com, the widget that is.
I’ve registered with mybloglog.com which is owned by Yahoo as it helps boost your visibility with other bloggers online.
You can create your own account now, and set yourself as a “Community”. Once that’s complete, you’ve officially exposed your blog nakedly to the world.
You’ll then want to add the widget (html code) which they’ll provide to you blog. Start growing your list of friend’s after.
Oh, do add us too.
***
2. Update Your Forum Signatures
I know most of you are already members of several online streetwear forums, most likely Hypbeast or Solecollector.
Well, insert your blog link into your signatures and increase the visibility post-by-post.
You can easily insert your blog link by editing it in your user control panel.
***
3. Leave a Comment on Other Blogs
Go to http://blogsearch.google.com and build yourself a list
of blogs related to yours.
You’ll then want to participate in the popular discussions on the blog. Don’t be shy. Go ahead and share your thoughts.
The key is to sincerely contribute, not blatantly reveal your itch to promote your link. A half baked spammy comment is wack. Ok?
Here’s what happens.
When people read your comment, they will follow through to click on the link you left, just to see what golden nuggets they can get from you.
They may even subscribe to your RSS feed and become repeat readers.

4. Submit Your Posts to Blog Aggregators
Blog agg-a-what?
A “blog aggregator” displays the latest posts from other
blogs, and most of them are free-of-charge to submit
your posts.
http://www.plugim.com (Internet marketing blogs only)
http://www.bloggingzoom.com
If your posts are interesting enough, others will vote for
them and if you make it to the front page you’ll be getting
a lot of traffic.

5. Review, Review, Review Other Blogs!
There are tons of other bloggers that are also street wear enthusiasts or fanatics online. Approach them personally by sending e-mail touching on how you’d like a “rReview exchange”.
This is where they write a review on your blog, where you then reciprocate the love –I mean favor – by writing a review on their blogs.
Most bloggers, especially those that just started out will be interested. Now that’s the blogger spirit!
Hope that helps,

If you want to maximize your advertising or promotional efforts, try to utilize the AIDA model online. Pay attention.
A = Attention
I = Interest
D= Desire
A= Action
This is a simple model which states that the awareness of a brand must precede interest, which in turn precedes desire and action.
This is how things work when visitors stumble upon your page, or is referred to it.
Information about your product attributes are first communicated in hopefully, a persuasive context. Usually, your product attributes should already be evident in your product design, if not your company information page.
The attributes can be sensory, evaluative or emotional. The trick is to touch on all three.
If the communication is persuasive enough to improve consumers’ attitudes on that attribute, their attitudes toward the overall brand will improve as well. This improvement in overall brand attitudes will concomitantly
increase the probability of purchase.
Bottom line is, try to ensure that all your page visual and textual elements are attractive. From that very first sentence in your front page, to the design of your clickable buttons which redirects to other sub pages.

Hey guys,
If you really want to explode into the online marketplace and increase not just your sales, but visibility for your t-shirts, then you may want to consider writing up your own press releases, and distributing them to free press release submission directories.
I guarantee that this will yield great results, and you can potentially be contacted by other professional fashion networks, locally or internationally
What is a press release? It’s basically a brief new article that highlights information about your company. Bare in mind, you should never blatantly advertise. Simply introduce the readers to your latest products, and give them insight on what your brand is about.
Here are some quick tips:
1. Always inform your reader about your company first, then your products. Make it newsworthy, not a sales pitch. This is a perfect moment to educate your reader’s, which could increase the chance of a free word-of-mouth marketing handled by them.
2. The title and heading of your press release articles must be attention grabbing. If you have a boring title, no one is going to click through and read. Catchy titles I’ve used for LUXLIVIN’s Luxyr Streetwear are “World’s First Ever Business and Luxury Streetwear Collection”
3. Explain a need, and create a desire for your product. Hire a copywriter to do this if necessary.
4. Write it in clear and concise English. Don’t go overboard with descriptive terms.
5. You should have at least 250 – 500 words for a newsworthy press release. Make sure that your press release content is strategically placed with keyword terms or phrases such as “Streetwear”, or “Urban clothing” to climb the ranks of search engines, which therefore spells as much traffic to your website or store.
Here are several press release directories I submit to:

Attention all up-and-coming designers, if you guys haven’t taken advantage of Twitter yet, make sure you do so now.
Simply put, Twitter is a microblogging site. You are allowed a limit of 140 characters for every update whatever you want to your followers.
I personally use Twitter to give a stickiness factor to my brand simply by tweeting once daily. You can drive targeted traffic to your online store or website the instant you promote your website. It offers a great personal touch to your business.
Hot Tips:
1. Never blatantly promote about your products. Instead, keep them updated with the progress, which still ends as a form of building awareness.
2. Check out your niche market’s top-guns Twitter profile and “steal” their followers. Yes, it’s legal. These followers could potentially have high interest in your clothes too.
3. Discover other business owners using Twitter in your niche by visiting http://www.twellow.com
4. Use Twitter to promote your other websites which you monetize with.
5. Use an attention grabbing avatar, and set up a custom background page to differentiate your profile from the masses.
Oh, and more thing. Make sure you check out Tweetlater – which allows you to automatically set up a “Thank You message” for anyone who decides to follow you. Also, it allows you to automatically follow people back.
Can’t hurt to save them and score more productivity points right?
On the next Twitter-related entry, I’ll reveal to you more secrets on building your own army list of followers faster than answering 1+1.
