What is the history of hip hop dance?

I love hip hop dance. I know there are different kinds, and artists have come up with their own styles as well as been influenced by dancing greats (i.e Ne-yo and Chris Brown being influenced by Michael Jackson). I know about break dancing, street dancing, crunk. etc. but give me a low down on the styles and history.
