What was once the pinnacle brand name among hip hop artistes, donned by the Notorious BIG (Versace shades), countless mentions and line drops (think of Jay Z, Nas, 50 Cent, _ _ _ _; your favorite artist!!!) seems to be in the doldrums. 2009 loss accumulates to a total of $ 42 million; despite a extensive brand portfolio; clothing lines, living quarters, electronics ( mobile phone), and a soon to be ready hotel residence in Dubai (uh oh).
However, the classic Versace logo remains much prevalent in today’s streetwear culture. Think of parody, think of Crooks & Castle.

Belgian designer Martin Margiela will officially leave Maison Martin Margiela – the fashion house that he built, and will not be replaced.
According Giovanni Pungetti, CEO of Maison Martin Margiela said that the fashion house will continue to operate with its existing creative staff without appointing a new Creative Director.

Sneaker Freaker latest shoe project comes in the form of New Balance
M850 model.
The sneaker features a mix of leather, suede and mesh on the upper, neon yellow hits on the lining and the mid-sole. The Sneaker Freaker logo is featured on the in-sole.
Utilizing kangaroo leather that is commonly used in professional soccer boots, this collaboration is dubbed the “ Skippy”.
Release date is set on December 5th.
