Meet Mark Kozen. An exemplary visionary who isn’t afraid to voyage into the heart of new challenges. When I first stumbled upon his Myspace page, I was struck by surprise – this designer virtuoso, streetwear enthusiast, and hip hop disciple bears a myriad of semblance as I do.
For one, we both get the kick out of juggling multiple businesses. Two, we’re young. Three, we are bona fide workaholics.
Mark is founder of L.I.F.E Entertainment along with the prominently esteemed model agency: Cutie Court – home to a deep-roster of scorching hot models. Yes, they’re all calendar girl material.
He also pioneered the visual aesthetics of giant zippers into hoodies which falls under his luxury streetwear line – Seemless Clothing.
No doubt. This guy’s a multi-tasking aficionado and probably doesn’t get much sleep. That’s because he’s a busy-bee slash money-machine, and nothing can spoil his determination to make history around the clock.
Let’s swing the spotlight on him.
1. What is the start-up story behind your pursuit as a CEO of multiple burgeoning business – Cutie Court, LIFE Entertainment, Seemless Clothing?
One of my companies, my first company, L.I.F.E. Entertainment has an acronym in the name which best describes my ambitions of being a multi-business CEO. L.I.F.E. stands for Life Is For Eternity, meaning that you only get one life to live, so you must live it to the fullest. I have always been the “creative type,” fueled by the need for creative outlet. Fortunately, I have been blessed with the opportunities to do so and the entrepreneurship to be able to be successful in each venture.
2. Describe your clothing line, what is it like? What are three words that best define it?
Seemless is a luxury brand inspired by streetwear. I believe that everyone is multi-faceted and thus so is my clothing. I may feel like wearing a suit one day, and on another, I may feel like wearing a hoodie. I wear brands ranging from Louis Vuitton to YSL to Bathing Ape to American Apparel…I mix them all together for a fusion look, something that I wanted defined in the clothing that I designed.
3. What is your definition of success, and how much of it do you think you’ve achieved?
My definition of success is doing what you love and being able to make a comfortable living off of it. Well, I have one part of it down, I love what I do, but I am always striving for more. I have extremely high aspirations and so I won’t stop until I reach them.
4. What are some recent achievements you’re proud of and would like to share?
Recent achievements include my new design company Vision Design firm with my best friend/business partner Arturo Torres, new videoblog at: youtube.com/mogulvision where I do all of the filming/editing, and also our constant success with cutiecourt.com
5. What’s something that’s always running inside your mind lately? “Love.” “How can I change the world?” “How am I going to reach a billion?”
6. What would you spend you a million dollars on?
I would make sure that my family and close friends are doing well and help them by creating opportunities for them to be successful mentally, financially, and emotionally. Next, I would re-invest and start more companies and expand current ones.
7. What’s one incident that would serve as a turning point to your life?
It’s tough for me to narrow it down to one incident, but I would have to say my travels. Traveling cultures one’s self and allows you to realize great things including that the world is a huge place and there’s so much to see, learn and experience.
8. What three pieces of advice would you give to others when it comes to life and business?
Stay focused. Travel. Love, but don’t get blinded by love. Think unconventionally.

Spending money before proper research. You MUST do your research first.

That “Seemless clothing will have you wanting to retire your entire closet.” I got a kick out of that!

Love, friends, and family. And that’s love for the art and creativity. love for people, and love for myself.
13. Biggest risk ever taken? Other than financial risks, can’t really think of any at the moment.
14. Who has influenced you most and been your greatest inspiration? My family. My mother for being a great guide through life, my father for entrepreneurship, my uncle for creativity, my sisters for showing me that anything is possible in life, and the new people that have come into my life that I have helped build entities for themselves.
