Okay maybe its not as far as Asia or the middle east, but according to reports from Clash Magazine, Kanye West is set to move to London in the New Year to begin a career in fashion design.
Kanye West recently released his new album ‘808s And Heartbreak’ which controversially included more singing than rapping. West has hit back at the critics, may possible lay down the mike and pick up the sewing machine for a while.
Kanye West has long had an interest in fashion, and is set to launch his own label Pastelle in 2009. The hip hop star has apparently approached a number of fashion giants about gaining an internship, with French firm Louis Vuitton being mooted as a possible home.
A source told the Mirror newspaper: “Everyone is surprised at just how seriously Kanye is taking his fashion dream.” This was after he was spotted in the front rows during the Paris and Milan fashion weeks, chatting away to the likes of Lily Allen. Word on the streets is that the very vocal “American Boy” actually likes London and wants to absorb the fashion over here.”
